So? Black people are a small minority of the US population. Their voting power is relatively meager. You can't fairly compare them to the white voting demographic in this case.
The black Vote in certain states such as Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina is why Obama won so yes the comparison applies in this instance.

First of all, the Black vote did not win Obama the vote in those states. The Hispanic/Latino vote, along with other immigrant groups, and still other demographics contributed more than the Black vote did. Second, make the comparison- go ahead and do the math, like I said. The results, though they're rough estimates, are pretty stark. There's no way a comparable number of people voted for Obama because of race than voted against him because of it.
And why is that?
Because there are far more white race-voters than black race-voters, even if you conceive of the percentage of racist voters in each population as being the same.

Yes, you did make my original point which was white guilt being a major factor in the '08 election accounting more in the '08 election than racists who voted against Obama. There is no difference between a white person voting for a black person based off guilt, and a white person voting against a black person based off race. There is a racial component involved in both instances and they both are negative. Because the white crackers who vote for a black man out of white guilt does so because they think there vote will end systematic racism of the current white power structure that is in place to keep none whites down. Thats why I dont take none of these liberal white elites on TV seriously when they talk about black folks. They keep peddling the propaganda of republicans wanting to take food stamps away from black people so that there corporatist democratic party can grab more power, all the while not really doing anything about the black man's CONDITION in America. The systemic condition of black people will not change in this current two party system... the sooner you realize, the better.
