If Mitt Romney wasn't so rich, he could easily win.

But he puts people off. Even the middle-income racist white people don't like someone like Mitt Romney b/c he can't relate to them. The mill worker or assembly line white guy who gets up at 5am and works til 5pm can't relate to Romney. He may be a closet racist and not like Obama either, but he wont vote for Romey.

After listening to this its clear he's grand standing and c00ning...

But besides that, your point is moot because the most highly educated people vote for Democrats so even if what you were saying is true about "the informed voters" on both sides not being racist, that's pointless because people who are less educated and white are more likely to be Republican than Democrats. So the shear number of Republicans that your analysis applies to defeats your own point.

Obama 52.9% >>> Mccain 45.6%... Now go ahead and dispute those numbers of who voted for who based on what

Obama got 59 Million and Mccain got 49 Million. So Mccain lost by 10 Million votes in the popular vote. Despite that Obama lost the white vote overall still. Mccain got 55% of the overall white vote in 2008. Obama will likely lose the White Vote to Romney but yes Obama did have strong White support especially from the White Youth.

At the end of the day Romney is dumber than a doorknob and anyone with an ounce of sense can see it. It doesn't help that his personality or lack of, and privilege make him detestable to even the same social circle. He's an aloof oaf.

Colin Powell is being accused by the right of endorsing Obama based solely on race.

It seems to me that these comments by Powell's chief of staff are more a case of an aide sticking up for his former boss than it is some staunch conservative finally being honest about the role that race plays in the Republican party.

Powell is essentially a RINO and Wilkerson probably is too. With that being the case, I think you guys should put his statement into the proper context.

Dude called a spade a spade, we all know what time it is with most Republicans! It takes balls though to go against your team so publicly...

So Obama got 45% of the white vote. How much of that was due to white guilt? And Obama got 95% of the black vote. How much of that was due to Obama being black? Again, Obama got more votes because he is black than Mccain got due to him being white..

That's because you and others saying this didn't know who Lawrence Wilkerson was before yesterday. He's been criticizing where the Republican party has gone for years. I posted interviews with him on :hamster: years ago.
