I know... Dude is hurt, you'd have to trade for him with the exceptation he plays 65 games and you would couldn't count on him as your only rim protector.

Even if we are going after someone like Deandre Jordan, I still think we will go hard after Cauley Stein

Also another factor is that he only has one year left on his contract and is in his 30's now, do we really wanna give up anything valuable for him?

If we can get him scraps then obviously that's something to pursue, but I'm not really a fan of giving up something valuable for him.

I dont think he'd necessarily cost a haul to get if that's the direction the Bulls went in

I kind of agree

Wouldn't rule out Asik or Robin Lopez either... They'll be cheaper alternatives in case we don't get one of those guys or a center in the draft

We also know Danny was trying to trade for Brook Lopez so there's interest there if he opts out

The only reasons I'm ehhh on Brook Lopez is because of his injury history and lack of rebounding. Otherwise, he's a great scoring big man with a high basketball IQ that also contributes on defense.

We could go after him with the Rondo trade exception AFTER we fill other needs..but not before. Chi might say now or never so they can free up cash and make the Butler re-signing more affordable to their cap. Taj might be possible as well when we move Sully but I doubt that.

Honestly, in light of this series with the Rockets, fukk DeAndre Jordan. We don't need him and he may set us back in player development and in game time situations.

Gasol, Aldridge, or Vucevic for me.

DeAndre's FT's dont seem as bad if they make a rule change but I was never a huge fan of giving him a max deal as it was. I would offer it depending on drafts but I wouldnt offer max years so Id get outbid probably.

BTW..Id be shocked if we draft at 28. That pick is on the move since we have 33 and can get that 2+2 on cheap rather than first round money. So we use 28 to move up in all likelihood than either draft at 33 or move 33 as well to move back in to end of first

wes matthews guaranteed target..bradley on block...WCS/Stan/Portis main targets...multiple deals in different directions in works. waiting to see which team accepts first

PM me if u need to, but what other deals?

Bradley being on the block surprises me but makes sense... hes probably reached his ceiling offensively

:patrice:

My only concern with Wes is the injury. A torn achilles is no joke. But if he can return to pre-injury form that's a clear upgrade over Bradley. And also Bradley is four years younger than Wes and his contract will be pretty much MLE money once the TV deal kicks in

And would we really need to trade up for Portis? Most mocks I've seen have him going in that range anyway
