I'm just curious. Whenever I see a dude give his girl flowers, cards or write her poetry the response seems to be a bit phony.

You do all that and the chick aint feeling you like you think and you just shot yourself in the foot. Its pretty much a wrap at that point.
I like that shyt, my ex and I would make paper origami and draw pictures for each other. The only flowers I love are sunflowers, he'd bring me home a sunflower whenever he passed one

i hate getting flowers because i'm very specific about the ones that i like.
i LOVEEEE cards. I've kept every card I've gotten for any occassion since I was like 12. They better have a handwritten message in them tho or it's a waste of money & paper.
