damn, once i actually read these charges, witness tampering and failing to register as an agent of china, especially after this balloon shyt. damn he's done.
it's not taxes, it's a FARA case, but also like a dozen other counts. He also does NOT have good representation, he has David Kenner. The dude didn't even deliver an opening statement to the jury.
yeah, even a light read of the indictment, shows they really want him. He wouldn't plea! They offered him a deal, to KEEP some of the money, and he refused. It's an ego thing, he really doesn't think he did anything wrong, but what he's going to find out, is that doesn't matter at all. It's all about working within the system. Pras doesn't have fukk you money. At least not anymore.
The feds already seized the money, It's basically in escrow. If he is acquitted, he can try to get it back, but the Justice Department can also sue him in civil court, and probably will. He's not going to get acquitted. it's a like a 21 count indictment.
The case involves tens of millions of dollars being put into Pras bank account. The jury will never be able to get around that fact.
Decaprio's testimony is purely foundational. It's establishing that Low, the Foreign National did not give everybody tens of millions of dollars. He gave it to Pras. He threw parties and gave gifts, and financed movies, but not money deposited into funnel accounts, to be donated to campaigns. This makes Pras look guilty. Because the prosecution is saying he did this for financial gain.
