File a police report. Hire an injury lawer. Assuming you need therapy, let your lawyer know that you need therapy and they should be able to refer you to a PT or Chiropractor. Lawyer will file an injury claim against their insurance. Pray they have insurance. You can also do this on your own if you have their insurance information by filing an injury claim directly through the insurance it will just be more work.

My boy got his car totaled by the police , they ran a red light with no sirens or lights. He broke his foot. He didn't have L'z so he didn't get nothing.
police accidents are tricky/different because they have certain immunities anyway. this is why lawyers get paid big bucks because they know the little nuances that can make or break a case.

I got her info. I was in a neck brace and couldn’t see but I am assuming a police officer gave me her info (literally him writing it on a sticky note) but I didn’t get a police report. I called earlier and they said they didn’t see one yet but to try again tomorrow before I officially make one if it hasn’t been made already

I mean I deleted the link because it’s a fresh matter and I personally haven’t talked to all parties involved yet (attorney, driver, police report). But I’m not a defendant trying to prove something, the video is just footage of what happened. Everyone talking about showing evidence but I don’t need to bend the evidence in my favor to defend myself I am a potential plaintiff

Girrrrrl you better go to iJustGotHit.comColi fam I need legal advice on how to sue someone who hit me with their car.
I was walking through a crosswalk with the right to cross sign and a car ran a red light and turned and hit me. They were going about 15 mph, hit me, I flew about 5 feet airborne.
I couldn’t feel my legs for about 15 seconds which was scary and it took like a full minute for someone to come help me. The driver NEVER even got out the car to ask if I was ok or anything!!!
Anyway ambulance comes and they basically force me to the hospital because they just know something’s wrong. Spent the whole day in the hospital, came out with no broken bones which even the doctor was surprised, and I just have a contusion on my shoulder. They have me some oxy that I’m gonna flip so that’s an easy $200 but I want my real money.
I don’t know if I spoke to a cop or not. Someone (assuming police) came in the ambulance with me and gave me the drivers info. I never got a police report. And truthfully it happened so fast idk even know what the person looked like who was driving.
What are my next steps? Obviously call a lawyer Monday but do I need to call the police and either get my police report or file one? Do I call the driver directly? I wasn’t driving but do I call my insurance? I’ve never sued anyone and any advice would help
