The first half was a lay-up line for the Celtics. They probably talked all week about needing him to protect the rim at least a little bit but the first half it looked like it would be impossible for the Sixers to win with non-existent defense.

Doc Rivers said after the game that some of the stuff the players were saying to Paul Reed during the game was probably a bit excessive and that it was impressive that he stayed ready for those clutch FTs at the end of the game.

PJ has a moment just about every game with Maxey when he messes up defensively and he gets all up in his face. You can see Maxey go, "man I know I f*cked up teacher, please let me go home, I'll be better I promise, please don't yell "

He's not gonna be fully recovered in 5 days. He's got a sprained LCL. That's a 4-6 week recovery time depending on the severity. Why do people think he's magically just gonna be healthy in a couple weeks?
