I'm shocked. As a Laker fan my biggest fear was him hitting a steep decline and that he'd play the sidekick to AD. Dude has been insane and has done a much better job this year of knowing when to take over and when to fall back when the team has it going.

I didn't expect him to come back putting in the effort he has on defense while still maintaining his offense. I figured one or the other. My expectation was him taking a step back offensively and letting AD shine OR him maintaining offensively while coasting even more on defense. Nobody expects someone just hitting 35 to actually play better overall.
