Sure they were.

It would be nice if you worked off of "based ons"...because it sure has nothing to do with league history.
They weren't "nobodies" like the op said - that's what I replied to.

Then reply to him. As a team, they shat the bed defensively being the worst of all time.

Anyone here believes a 50 win team in the 90s is as good And of the same quality team as a 50 win team in the 80s besides @Jplaya2023?

Maybe. Realistically speaking though, the teams that had a chance to win titles that James was on did win them. The 2007-10 cavaliers were a d league team around him that wouldn't even sniff the playoffs without him. The 2011 heat had an 8 man rotation, and in that rotation was a point guard who was a complete liability on both ends of the floor, a wing whose best asset was his shooting and he had two broken thumbs, a big man basically playing with a broken foot, and a center who was so useless on offense that he may as well have played with his hands duct taped shut on offense. The 2014 team entirely failed to show up besides him, and love gets torched on defense when he's on the floor against the warriors. I'd argue his being out in 2015 actually helped the cavaliers since it let them defend as well as they did. LeBron has had some really terrible coaches, but I'm not sure I see a roster there that a better coach would've won a title with outside of maybe 2011 playing house off the bench with chalmers starting and James jones getting minutes with the starters. Even then, house and jones weren't exactly anything to write home about on defense themselves.

The Spurs team that beat them has one of if not the highest sustained points per 100 possession of any team in the history of basketball from game 7 of the mavs all the way until they beat the heat...
:ehh:

A lot of interesting facts being dropped in here. I'm not one to turn down debates blindly because "well it's MJ!!"

Nah, that type of fandom in any form of entertainment is unnecessary.

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Bron really has no excuse for that Mavs lost. I'd argue all of those Spurs teams were better than any team Jordan met in the finals though. The year they lost to the Spurs in 6, I'd argue is a top 5 NBA team of all time. :manny:

So they would beat the Warriors who hold two of the best regular seasons ever back to back in 6 or less?:stopitslime:
A Warriors team that was pushed to 6 when LeBron didn't have Kyrie or Love and a Warriors squad that blew a 3-1 lead? :heh:

The Warriors are some of the shakiest NBA Finals teams I've ever watched :yeshrug:

You guys do realize that 3 of Lebron's Finals losses were to significantly better teams:skip:

IIRC the Heat were an older team than the Spurs were..

You guys keep bringing up the Mavs series after OP said that there was no excuse for Bron there:snoop:. You're pretty much stating the obvious at this point:skip:

No way in hell he wins that 07 Finals:camby:. Jordan would've probably gotten swept as well.
