That's not what the graph says it shows the quality of defenses they faced. LeBron put up better numbers against superior defenses.

Ok

They were all great defenders in their prime regardless...

Jordan was a great on-ball defender

LeBron nor Kobe could never be called a great on-ball defender.

Yes, they could I could cite several lockdown performances to support that. LeBron in '09 was a DPoY runner-up and recorded more defensive win shares than MJ did in any season.

For me, being called a great on-ball defender means consistent great defense...night in & night out. Yes, Kobe has many possessions where he has locked down an offensive player, even full games over the course of his career, but he's never done it on a consistent, nightly basis where I'd call him a great defender in the same vein as a Jordan or Pippen....or an Artest/Allen. Same with Bron.

I equate "great defenders" with lockdown defenders. That's just my opinion though:manny:

Tumble weeds rolling through this thread. Kobe stans nowhere to be found. :mjlol:

And lmfao @ the one dumb fakkit in here that seriously just said LeBron isn't a great on-ball defender even after "watching" this Finals. :mjlol:
