how does he deserve it, hes plays with another megastar in wade. that should disqualify either of them from contention in my eyes,.....and then throw in bosh a guy whos averaged 24 and 11 in the league, a team full of stars no one should be a mvp on that team....same reason shaq never won more than one mvp. playing with kobe.....btw pippen wasnt no damn megastar legend ass player like wade lebron kobe shaq are

Why doesn't Bosh still average 24 and 11? Oh because he's playing with 2 superstars.

Why did Wade's scoring averages dip? Oh because he's playing with another superstar and an all-star.

Why did LeBron's numbers... oh wait, he just had a one of his best years despite playing with another superstar and an all-star.

You just made the argument yourself. Now you just have to believe yourself.

The media really should be banned from voting for MVP. They keep changing the criteria each season. I remember when they were giving Steve Nash MVPs over Kobe and Shaq it was because he had a better record.

Now they giving LeBron MVP over Durant even though OKC had a better record. Now all of a sudden it should be based on stats?

The fact LeBron has more MVPs than Shaq and Kobe combined tells you its a bogus award. Kobe had Shaq got 9 titles and 5 finals MVPs between them and only 2 regular season MVPs.

Bron on the other hand has 0 titles, 0 Finals MVPs, and more regular season MVPs than Kobe and Shaq combined.

every year is different

The normal criteria is:

55+ wins

top 4 record in the NBA

great individual stats.

There are some obvious outliers (kareem 76, malone 81, nash 06) but for the most part the above has been consistent for MVP voting

You're the one that has changed the criteria each year, Benjamin.
