Right. Gilbert's getting tens of millions of dollars from merchandise, TV revenue and deep playoff runs by Bron staying in the fold. Why would he be interested in "getting his team back" if it's a 30 win lottery team. He may not love Bron but he's 1 million times better than the alternative of not having him on the Cavs
PG is gone. Woj said Lakers haven't been aggressive about Kawhi lately on TV, and we know the Spurs do NOT want to trade him there. What's his best bet? A post-achilles and missing a large chunk of the season Boogie Cousins? Kuzma+Ingram+Ball?

How will it reflect on his legacy if after getting knocked down by the Warriors 3/4 years he goes to their own state acknowledging that he can't overcome them? Submitting to their reign, and willingly losing every season until he retires?
