Imagine saying Lebron was carrying bums to 8 straight nba finals…an amazing feat….while at the same time making jokes that he still “needs more help”

So much :hula:

:wow:

you're not very bright I see

:snoop:

he's played with a lot of bums because he stacked the teams top heavy with HOFs hence why he played with more bums than elite talent. put your helmet on before you post next time

What’s his era? Nikka been in the league since Kobe was rocking the fro.

Too much dikksucking fried yall brains.

LeBron's era was 2011 to 2018. That's when he was the guy, seriously competing for championships and when his teams drew the most media attention.

Don't you dare say the 2000s.

Yeah, in 2006-2010 when he won back-to-back MVPs plus a #2, #4, and #5 finish, was 1st-team All-NBA four times, led the NBA in scoring, finished 2nd in DPOY voting, drug a bunch of scrubs to the Finals with Boobie Gibson as his #2 and then took the title-winning Celtics to 7 with Delonte West as his #2, and hit 5 different playoff game-winners, that was clearly not a part of his era at all.

LeBron won 4 MVPs, 9 Finals appearances, and 4 championships between 2008-09 and 2019-20, basically 2010s ball. So if we define his "era" by when he dominated most it was 2008 to 2020, a 12-year peak of dominance...

Just for comparison:

•Mike won his first MVP in '88 and his last title in '98. Take away the '94 season he missed entirely, this is 1987 to 1998, that was a 10-year era you can call "Mike"...

•Kareem won his first MVP in '71 and his last championship as a #1 in '82, so that's 1970-1982, 12 years of "Kareem,". Same way Bron is 2010s, Kareem is 1970s...

•Magic won his first title as a #1 in '85 and his last MVP in '90, that's 6 years of Magic (1984-1990)...

•Wilt won his first MVP in '60 and his last championship in '72, that's 13 Wilt years (1959-1972)...

•Bird won his first title in '81 and his last title and MVP in '86, 6 years of Bird (1980-1986)...

•Kobe won his MVP in '08 and his last title as a #1 in '10, that's 3 years of Kobe (2007-2010)...

•Russell won his first MVP in '58 and his last ring as a #1 in '66, that's 9 Russell years (1957-1966)...

•Duncan won his first ring as a #1 in '99 and his last in '07, that's 9 peak Duncan years (1998-2007)...

•Shaq won his first #1 title and MVP in '00 and his last title as a #1 in '02, that's 3 Peak Shaq years (1999-2002)...

•Durant won his MVP in '14 and his last chip in '18, that's 5 Peak Durant years (2013-2018)...

•Hakeem won his MVP and first title in '94, and his last ring in '95, that's two Peak Hakeem seasons (1993-1995)...

•Steph won his first MVP and title as a #1 in '15 and his last #1 title in '22, that's 8 Peak Steph years (2014-2022)...

These are the consensus 15 greatest players ever, save Oscar and West who never won rings as #1 options, and West never won an MVP. It's not an exact science and there's room to play with it but when guys speak on "eras" I think the framework for dominance has to at least contain when you did your winning as the main option and won your MVPs...
