Perfect description
Ain't that many 6'4 and over nikkas in the world. It was the Hood who loved A.I. That's why so many nikkas fukked with him. Because when he got on, he aint polish uo for corporate NBA. He kept it hood and we loved him for it.Interesting quote
Growing up, the ones that typically worshiped AI were the short nyggas. They LOVED that nygga. The "6'4 and up" gang preferred the taller players.

I feel like the only people that don't like Iverson weren't around when he came into the league. His whole movement was powerful. I like the comparison to Pac too, he hit the league a couple of months after Pac died like the world couldn't be without a real nikka for too long. He was more than stats.
Iverson felt relatable to a lot of fans. The average NBA player is maybe 6'4 and probably about 200-210 pounds. Iverson is 6 even and played around 165. I'm 6 even and 180, so the idea of a guy 15 pounds smaller than me lighting up a defense and relentlessly going to the basket when the guys guarding it were anywhere from 7-12 inches taller and outweighed him by 80-170 pounds made a lot of fans feel like "if he can do it, why can't I do it too?"I'd say Iverson had more love and impact than Kobe or Shaq at the time. The swagger, the way he talked, the way he dressed, his attitude. Let's not forget Kobe had to deal with some people feeling he was soft or "talked/acted white" for some time. I vividly remember being more into Kobe and Duncan than Iverson because their personalities were more like mine. But all of my friends were on the Iverson wagon.
Kobe at times felt like someone trying to be Jordan, and no one can be Jordan (in large part due to the media myth of him). Iverson was like fukk that shyt I'm gonna be me.
