The media needs Bron. They've been propping him up/hyping him up since he was in high school. They really wanna give him that GOAT title. They'll feed off the controversy because they're vultures, but in their heart of hearts, they wanna crown Bron as the GOAT.

You combine that with a generation yearning/ eager to create their own legends, it's a match made in heaven.

It's the perfect recipe for delusion & rationalization....they have to make these L's consciously tolerable...or even admirable(like trying to give him the MVP for losing last year.He put up numbers, but his efficiency was horrible...36 on 35 shots?..Iguadala making him look like Joe Wolf:francis:)........The hype machine hates when you look beyond just a "surface" level. They feed off the superficial shyt

This is what's been manufactured for them. That's why I just fall back most of the time:yeshrug:

Well curry might take bron spot

thecoli told me the warriors are trash this year

so the cavs should dominate them the same way they dominated the eastern conf in the playoffs :mjpls:

i wouldnt...but this is the thing...we dont make excuses for why kobe lost them finals.

It's not an excuse. It's context. Same reason it's straight stupid to hold Lebron's final losses against the Spurs (Cleveland) and GSW against him when it was pretty obvious he was outgunned.

I crack jokes about Kobe losing against the Suns, ALL THE DAMN TIME, but no one sane really thinks that series should be an indictment on his legacy even if he choked a 3-1 league just like OKC is getting blasted for doing. Because the context of those "chokes" is that Kobe was over-performing with an obviously inferior team and OKC had two top players on the same team choking away.

I just think things should be looked at in context, even losses.

If you see Lebron leading his teams to 3 straight finals and losing as having tarnished his legacy, then surely you see Kobe not being able to lead his team to a single solitary playoff win in 3 years of his prime as having tarnished his legacy as well correct?
That has nothing to do with what I said and your point was trash. So Kobe not being able to win a playoff series with no all stars(his teammates had 0 all star appearances combined) is the same as losing 3 straight finals with 2 all stars and HOFs. Interesting theory there buddy. :heh:

I hated prime Kobe but even I can't let the double standards rock. Bron outchea failing with All Star teams while Kobe was playing with D League players before Pau and after Shaq

Would be funny if Lebron signed a one year contract with the Kings and silenced his critics by making it to the finals.....but ended up losing the championship to Wade and the miami heat.

Exactly. It's always Lebron never has enough but he always has more than enough else. Bosh and Wade was more than anyone else had. Kyrie, Love and 3 pt shooters isn't enough? Oh but it was enough the last 3 rounds :stopitslime:

You see it breh. The Media for the last two summers has been on a MISSION to spin finals losses a positive. It was pathetic how they tried to throw Bron a FMVP outta pity when he shot shytty percentages AND lost 3 straight games, he didn't have anywhere near a Jerry West type performance that would warrant that shyt. Steph shoulda got FMVP, but the media wasn't having it

Bron can't be an underdog on this site. Especially to Kobe fans in here. I'm talking to you @Newzz. You carrying on in here is a repeat conversation. I bet you're purposely favoring the Cavs again so you can go on your Bron failed angle when they likely will fall short.

I wrote this on my FB two days ago.

Its all one big set up so they can say Bron fell short again in a series where they KNOW the team he happens to play on aren't the favorites.

It's all an excuse for them to say he underperformed.

Dudes in here are lames
none of that matters tho, he puts theses teams together. He is a part of the reason why they not the better team also. He can't play wit a dominate big in the pant, he can't hit the 3 consistently and he can't pull up. If he could do all that at a good level his team probably would favored to win.

this is a record breaking 73-9 golden state team with the best shooters in nba history, lebron is an all around great player but won't receive that much help from his big man.

All am saying you shouldn't let this series have an effect on his accomplishments
cause he only wants a big man that sits behind the 3 point line. Nobody fault but his
