In 2014? The Spurs finished 8 games ahead in the standings I think. The heat defense had noticeably declined. How exactly were the heat a better team that year than San Antonio? The only advantage we had that series was we had LeBron. Everything else was an advantage for the Spurs.

Most of this site does.
nikka please . Heat had a better team, Bron, Wade, bosh, etc... nikkaz act like wade and bosh weren't top players

How did Wade and bosh play in the finals? The Spurs were miles better on both ends of the floor that season. Names don't win titles, production does, and the Spurs produced much better than the Heat that year.

My brother's keeper
Heat was better Finals team the 1st 3 years( so that throws out the 2 outta 6)). Year 4 should have been the reload year, but I'm pretty sure he leaned on Pat to keep them aging role players one more year.

The reaction to dumping Miller and old ass James Jones following him leads me to that.

Anyway, he chose the team he's on and just gotta deal with it.

You can choose your own destiny and still lose. Them's the breaks :manny:

we can all agree that lebron would be undefeated in the finals if scott brooks was the opposing coach for each team. gave away the 2012 finals then after the 3rd quarter of game 6 of the 2013 finals warged into popovich to blow that series.

If you lose 3 straight Finals, yes your legacy will be tarnished.

It's always " Wow Lebron is so great and look how well his team is playing, he finally has a squad" until the Finals... then it's "Look at his teammates, his opponent was too good..."

Why is that?

Yep....And it's so obnoxious

So a worse offensive and defensive rating, as well as a drastically worse win-loss record means the team is better?
Heat don't take regular season serious.. One year the Spurs had the best record and got eliminated in the first round.. Regular season records...Yawn.. OKC almost took out a team that won 17 more games during the regular season.

I dont respect Bron cause i see the frontrunner and insecurity in him. But I do admit that he is the most physically gifted NBA player I have ever seen, its amazing really. He has gotten this far on 60% athleticism 30% skill and 10% mentality.

What I dont like is his Stans revising history to prop him up. Acting like Wade Bosh and Ray were role players.. Saying Kobe lost in 2008 when he was favored to win?? You mean a Kobe that lost in 2008 with 2 of his 5 starters out and having to start Sasha Vujacic and Vlad Radmonivich against the big three?? Like they have to diminish other peoples accomplishments to put Bron on equal footing. shyt is disgusting. Let Bron stand on his own 2 feet like a grown man and stop making up new stats to defend him.
Funny thing is that his biggest stans stay in Bristol Conneticut. All those CAC stat geeks that make up new numbers to shove this stat padder down our throats as top three all time like they are protecting a golden child is what really makes fans hate dude. This is why ESPN lost 10 million subscribers and will keep losing more because of their obsession with stats. Take those stats back to MIT and leave sports to the barber shops and bars where they belong.

Real sports fans and men in general can see with their own eyes who has and who doesnt have the heart of a champion.

The media needs Bron. They've been propping him up/hyping him up since he was in high school. They really wanna give him that GOAT title. They'll feed off the controversy because they're vultures, but in their heart of hearts, they wanna crown Bron as the GOAT.

You combine that with a generation yearning/ eager to create their own legends, it's a match made in heaven.

It's the perfect recipe for delusion & rationalization....they have to make these L's consciously tolerable...or even admirable(like trying to give him the MVP for losing last year.He put up numbers, but his efficiency was horrible...36 on 35 shots?..Iguadala making him look like Joe Wolf:francis:)........The hype machine hates when you look beyond just a "surface" level. They feed off the superficial shyt

This is what's been manufactured for them. That's why I just fall back most of the time:yeshrug:

If you see Lebron leading his teams to 3 straight finals and losing as having tarnished his legacy, then surely you see Kobe not being able to lead his team to a single solitary playoff win in 3 years of his prime as having tarnished his legacy as well correct?

Exactly.

I ain't ever heard any stanbase latch on to #BettingOdds in order to justify losing until LeBron stans pulled it out the air in 2016:wow:

I mean, why even play the games? nikkas had preemptive excuses on deck before the series even started:mjlol:

U got jokes :russ:
