These signature lines would have way more appeal if Nike didn't focus on putting that huge ass swoosh on the side of them. That's what made Jordan's what they are, the fact that after the first one's, the swoosh on the side was gone and the jumpman logo was very small. that's why the first foamposites became popular. But now they have that big ass swoosh on some of them and it fukks up the design.

These new shoes suffer because 40-50% of the design is comprised of the swoosh. And the Lebrons can't decide if they want swoosh forward or backward. You can have a monkey design these signature shoes and as long as you put a superstar in them, they will basically have the same effect in terms of sales. That's why Tinker Hatfield will always be considered the GOAT in terms of Nike shoe designers.
