ivs were amazing
Retro Jordan's and older basketball models (forces, chuck taylors, etc) are the only things keeping basketball shoes alive in terms of casual wear.Naw they're not....and running shoes were that wave about 4-5 years back with New Balance, Asics, Saucony's and all the boutique/designer (Feig) collabs....Adidas stepped in were Nike fell short...and that was basically new designs....but let's not forget the 3 Nike designers that also jumped shipped to Adidas...basketball shoes will never lose their relevancy...history has already taught us that....
exactly and it will always remain that way....that's why I said history has already taught us that...I'm 37 years old and younger kids are wearing the same shoes that I was back in the day...the trend may fall off again or slow down in the next couple of years but it will always resurge...Yeezys (Adidas) have dropped in resale value and it's really only the Nike pairs that fetch an outrageous price....Yes Boost is that wave and resale is crazy on alot them pairs but i should have said retro basketball shoes will never fall off....just like alot of bruh's in here like them Lebron 9's as they should cause that shoe IMO will definitely be a sought after shoe when it gets retro'd...Retro Jordan's and very old basketball models (forces, chuck taylors, etc) are the only things keeping basketball shoes alive in terms of casual wear.
New and recent models just don't coincide with current fashion trends off the court.
We're in an era where yeezys, a shoe by a rapper are hotter on the streets than current NBA superstar shoes.
Nobody lining up for Durant's or Curry's.
Even the reseller market shoes a trend in non-basketball shoes generating more interest and hype
It is what it is.
Bron and casuals dont mixThat's what I'm saying tho. Brons can't be rocked casually.
Well I was taking more about current and post 2000 models.exactly and it will always remain that way....that's why I said history has already taught us that...I'm 37 years old and younger kids are wearing the same shoes that I was back in the day...the trend may fall off again or slow down in the next couple of years but it will always resurge...Yeezys (Adidas) have dropped in resale value and it's really only the Nike pairs that fetch an outrageous price....Yes Boost is that wave and resale is crazy on alot them pairs but i should have said retro basketball shoes will never fall off....just like alot of bruh's in here like them Lebron 9's as they should cause that shoe IMO will definitely be a sought after shoe when it gets retro'd...
