Lebron can't control AD's health or what the Lakers' FO/Ownership does.

The Lakers are not a winning team, but Lebron is playing winning basketball.
Should’ve stopped right there.
There is nothing the ownership can really do due to AD’s injury proneness. Trying to add pieces wont matter if AD is out :manny:
AD is the glue that holds everything together especially with Bron being that old. We saw flashes of what AD could do having the reigns which was great and shyt went left real quick with his crazy last injury. If he had Westbrook body for not being hurt man :banderas:
But it ain’t so this is where we are at I’m not a gambling man so I totally understand why the Lakers don’t want to go in an all win mode with AD’s health hovering over their heads.
Bron is probably ok with going all in because he won’t have to deal with the repercussions of if shyt don’t work cuz he doesn’t own the team

He can control front office a bit. Him, AD and Jeanie wanted Westbrook on the team, so what Pelinka was supposed to do? Say no?

That was 2 off-seasons ago.....You have to make moves to correct the situation........Despite the Lakers being one of the most profitable franchises in the league, Jeanie Buss is trying to save money on luxury tax.....If this was the Warriors, Nets, Clippers, or Knicks they would've made the necessary trades to correct the situation.

LA made no moves at the deadline last season because they did not want to pay more taxes.

LA was too cheap to sign Caruso.

LA cut Ryan earlier this season and still hasn't replaced him

LA has one of the worst medical staff in the league.

The Buss family is having money issues and it's negatively effecting the team/product.

Bron knew all of those things yet still re-signed with the Lakers anyways, so he's not going to get sympathy from the masses.

LeBron wanted DeRozan first, but most importantly the front office is the one who decides on the compensation.

I can say hey I want "x" but if the other team wants too much in return for "x" then it's on the front office to say no deal.. that's their job

Yet the Clippers are able to be competitive without PG and Kawhi for long stretches.. that's because they have a winning front office compared to the Lakers
