On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
In this Xs and Os podcast, Bron who wears #23, said AI and Steph had the most influence on the game since he’s been following and covering the game.

The views will be high because it’s Bron, but it’s going to be highly scrutinized because it’s Bron and his opinions.

This is the type of revisionist history that’s annoying. . Ngga, Kobe was BELOVED like no player in history. Maybe even more than Mike. BEFORE his death. His death only amplified it

Ahh I get the disconnect. Yall are lookin at people well outside basketball, well outside the culture and counting that as “polarizing”. Thats goofy. If you count that, ngga EVERY black celeb is “polarizing”

Ngga Beyoncé is polarizing by that definition. Usher would be polarizing. :heh: Thats obtuse and very dense

It’s apparent Sonmez was not thinking through the potential consequences when she tweeted a Daily Beast article about Bryant’s sexual assault case less than one hour after his passing. Sonmez was bombarded with backlash, and the Post suspended her.

Kobe got a pass for that shyt even when it was brought up it didn’t get traction like that

For a lot of people it’s over if that’s on ya jacket just facts

A lot of ppl don’t even know about Colorado

The visceral hatred Bron gets for really no reason shyt like exercising his right as a free agent is insane. U realize Mario Chalmers said a fan tried to take an officers gun to assassinate Bron first time back in Cleveland?

John Hollinger literally spent the late 00's pushing the narrative that Manu was better than Kobe and he had more front page coverage that any ESPN NBA writer at the time but nah, it's all revisionist history

but yeah let's talk revisionist history.....all the LeGBT acts like the 09 and 10 Cavs weren't expected to win in real time.....yet

Cleveland (54.4%) vs. Los Angeles (45.6%): Call it David Stern's dream matchup. Kobe versus LeBron, a battle of the past two MVP winners (presuming LeBron wins this year), and one that matches the biggest stars in L.A. and New York (just kidding, Cavs fans). Let's just say there are going to be some deflated-looking people at the TV networks if we get Portland-Orlando instead.

Most common Finals matchups and results

The Lakers won both regular-season meetings, a positive indicator in their favor, but the Cavs will get the last two games on their home court, where they were 39-1 in games they tried to win. Yes, the Lakers were responsible for the "1", but that doesn't mean they're going to romp through the Q this time around.

Again, the Cavs' ability to play LeBron the whole game makes them a much more imposing team in the playoffs than they are in the regular season, as Boston found out a year ago, when a Cleveland team that gave up more points than it scored in the regular season took the mighty Celtics to the wire in a seventh game before succumbing.

This year, it's time to crown King James. I expect the Lakers to make this not just a competitive series, but a downright classic one. But in the end, the combination of the crowd at the Q and the best player in the world will be too much for the Lakers.

My prediction: Cavs in 7

Cavs in 6 vs the Magic and in 7 vs the Lakers huh :laff:

NBA Finals

(1) Cleveland vs. (3) Phoenix
Season series: 2-0 Cleveland.
Odds say: Cavs 55.7%; Suns 44.3%

The most cursed sports city against the most cursed NBA franchise? Can it possibly happen? It says here, yes.

I saw Cleveland play Phoenix in December, when the Cavs led by four touchdowns at halftime and coasted to a 17-point win. Suffice it to say that I expect this series to be a bit closer. The Suns are playing dramatically better than they were in December, when the two teams played both games in their season series.

That said, Phoenix might have a lot of problems in this one. The Suns need Lopez to come back to have the size to deal with Shaq, and they have nobody even remotely qualified to defend against LeBron. Varejao, on the other hand, is perfectly qualified to check Stoudemire, and the Cavs have some size to throw at Nash, too, with defenders like Delonte West and Anthony Parker. Moreover, Cleveland will have home-court advantage, and few crowds are louder than the gatherings at the Q.

I suspect they'll have plenty to cheer as King James leads the the Cavs to their first championship. Of course, you might want to take that prediction with a grain of salt -- I said the same thing a year ago.

Pick: Cavs in six

Cavs in 5 vs Boston :laff: Cavs vs the suns in the Finals huh :laff: and they were favored in Vegas yet in 2024 yall tell us the team was trash and no one expected them to win

You're just making shyt up at this point. It was brought up when he died and even before that, and Kobe snitching on Shaq followed him for year after that. John Saunders shytted on Kobe to his face live on ESPN, Kobe's mug shot was on the cover of SI, but it didn't gain traction ,ok....

and saying he got a pass when he didn't even do it and the girl as caught lying is some :mjpls: shyt, but carry on
