How expensive is it in CanadaExactly. Good idea.
Gonna have to decline my first offer soon. Not expecting other offers from Ontario schools... but aside from U of T, Osgoode is the best.
My school went down a coupleNew atl rankings are out, which I find way more credible and resourceful than the us news rankings

So cheapI'll pay roughly $25,000 a year. I'll be forced to take out a loan from a bank. In addition to provincial student aid.
Depends on the school. Some law schools (like McGill) are cheap. McGill law students can pay $6,000 year or so. Others, like the University of Toronto are $33,000 a year.
So cheap
:Mjweebay:Like MJ said they don't really care about us brehIt could be cheap in America, too. Y'all just need to build a robust social welfare system which places a priority in delivering affordable education to the masses.
That's for another thread though.
I'm used to these white majority situations and I know I'll need to compete so I'll think I'll be goodI never spent too much time in the Above the Law comment section (which they've thankfully discontinued), but now that I'm reading them, I'm getting a pretty solid picture of just how casually racist the White-lawyer world is.
Its not surprising, and I cannot muster the energy to be angry about it, its just sort of pathetic
I know these are going to be my classmates, my coworker, and even my boss (or Partner(s)) and that is tiring more than anything else
I need to pull the trigger and just go to Howard, its just that employment rate
I am too, but it stops being as satisfying after a while. At what point does my work product outshine that of my peers?I'm used to these white majority situations and I know I'll need to compete so I'll think I'll be good
I'll have no issues sabotaging a cac if it means I get the job/grade
Yeah I'm going to cop that as soon as I'm back in the statesI am too, but it stops being as satisfying after a while. At what point does my work product outshine that of my peers?
And that curve at GW is vicious. Do you have a copy of Getting to Maybe? From what I've told that's one of the best books out for LS testing.
Yeah I'm going to cop that as soon as I'm back in the states
