man, I cannot believe how many people love this show. I'm not a fan of any of the law and orders, and with the advent of far superior shows on the streaming services, why would we ever watch this over uncensored stuff on cable?

Some people want an open and close episode. Not a a storyline that drags for a whole season.

People like formulaic nature of the Law & Order series.
I personally like their spin on "Ripped from the Headlines" type crimes.

I cannot. too many broads love this show, and when I was married, my old lady used to watch it 24/7. like she watched it so much, she made me hate it

This was terrible, I had second-hand embarrassment for everyone involved. All of the procedural stuff was so wrong and poorly researched it stretched any credibility. I will not be watching any more of this. What a sad way for Sam Waterston to go out.
