said it already they only making a meme out themselves
big corporate brands can push product everywhere regardless of how swaggless an athlete might be
these new nikkas need the machine to sell them

to do it on your own you gotta be the best player of your generation or a style icon bigger than the sport

Scared is a big word....but in the long run it could be right. If Lavar can be successful at his own brand with his sons, then more athletes will do that going forward.

All it takes is someone "cool" to get ppl on their side.

Sure Nike can still pay more so likely they've nothing to be concerned about on a large level, but Lavar could change a part of the game

Ewing did it on his own and was pretty successful it's definitely possible just gotta do it the right way, in the case of lonzo I wonder how much of this is him and how much of it is his dad I wonder if he's ever been able to make a decision on his own

It could start a trend. Athletes might go that self ownership route and sell shyt on social media, etc. Nike doesnt want that.

They'd lose so much money breh. That's why i say.. sign that first big contract with Nike/Adidas etc, and use that money to fund a GREAT sneaker. You CANNOT fukk up your prototype shoe. You have less than zero percent fukk-up-ability. You need DEEEEP pockets for that.

I truly don't think Nike would even let them be successful to be honest. If you don't think Nike has their own goons/corporate sharks, that will bleed BBB dry, before they even get started.. then I don't know what to say.

Dudes better off going on shark tank to be honest.
