I see what Lavar was trying to say.

If we look at Hall of Fame NBA Players, their kids were not as good as them. :yeshrug:
Rick Barry - Jon, Brent, and Drew
Patrick Ewing - Pat Jr
Bill Walton - Luke
:mjpls: - Marcus and Jeff (not even making the league, but Jordan purposely prob didn't want to take any chances of them to better than him  )

Non Hall of Famers though, it varies.... because yeah you got cases were the kids where MUCH better
Dell - Steph
Joe Bryant - Da Gawd
Michael Thompson - Klay
Stan Love - Kevin Love
Wes Matthews - Wes Jr
Jim E Paxson - Jim J Paxson
Henry Bibby - Mike Bibby
Jimmy Walker - Jalen Rose

But there's also, many cases where the kids are worse
George Karl - Coby :mjlol:
Milt Wagner - DaJuan :to:
Gerald Wilkins - Damien Wilkins :francis:
Mike Dunleavy - Junior , probably a push
Bob Ferry - Danny Ferry :mjlol:
Scott May - Sean May :francis:
Doc Rivers - Austin Rivers :yeshrug:
Dolph Schayes - Danny Schayes
Jim E Paxson - John Paxson

So looking at that shyt, it's the best of the best of NBA cats in history who have kids that ended up not as great.

I think Bron's kid will be very good, but chances of him topping Pops aren't in his favor

What he said was dumb as hell, as if that nikka was dropping knowledge

That shyt is just basic statistics. If you are an NBA player, the chances that your offspring are as good as you or better, as athletic as you or better, as dedicated as you or better, and then lucky enough to not get injured are so small. Lonzo Ball is still so far away from having even a quarter of the success of some of the shyttier careers on your list.
