Serious question: Why didn't Lauryn make another album? I read her explanation for it, but I honestly didn't get it.

The only thing I know is that she didn't like all the attention being given to her and it was hard for her to be herself because of the image she had to live up to.

She was working on an album with Salaam Remi, but it never came out. This was like 2004. There was also The Fugees reunion album called Reconciliation that never came out either. Than like a decade ago, she was working on another album that never came out either.

So, it's more like a D'Angelo situation where she was a perfectionist and nothing she made was worth putting out?

I've always wondered what it was like to be a highly acclaimed artist that goes years without releasing anything. Knowing that the next project you put out, half the people will call it the GOAT album and the other half will say that it wasn't worth the hype.
