I like lawrence fishburne but i gotta hand it to denzel just off malcolm x alone. Lawrences ike turner was dope though. And don cheadle is good but not great.

Tough call there. Let me add to it though:
Better crooked cop: Denzel in Training Day or Larry in Deep Cover. Yes i know, Larry didnt start crooked but did fall down that path.

My boy & I were watching this recently and for whatever reason, we died laughing at 1:53-2:02. Ended up rewinding that shyt a few times b/c my boy swore Fish was blowing trees in that pipe.

Though im a fan of Fishburne's work, i can't say that he's better than Denzel though. But he did get jerked out of he Oscar for his potrayal of Ike Turner. He absolutetly had you thinking he was actually the real Ike.
