im Mexican. this sort of thing disgusts me. I live in the bay and race relations aint exactly the best. Blacks call me amigo and it upsets me(though to be fair its always the corner folk)and feel like im being patronized. i have plenty of friends of all races and am not prejudice at all. the 18th street gang is just a banner or name of 100s of small little gangs fall under there are the most dangerous kind cuz there leadership is chaotic and are all young gets willing to kill anything

Latino isn't a race. There are black latinos. A lot of Latinos are racist against other latinos. "Latino supremacy" isnt insitutionalized in this country. I wasn't saying gangs are not an issue but gangs is not the reason Compton isn't black and it's not the reason of why there has been a flood of legal and illegals and gangs aren't going to stop you from getting a job

If anything, like mowgli said, some black people moved out to get away from black gangs

I think what's going on is a massive influx of legal and illegal immigrants, it's not Mexican gangs per se
