This is exactly why Hillary Clinton lost and why Kamala fell back on the whole calling people "weird" shyt because truth be told a large portion of this country looks at the Democratic Party as "weird"

The country is far more Center Right than some people believe which is why the Dems are in this position now, trying to create a coalition of minorities to carry them over the top, all while pandering to these same minorities and making promises that they either can't keep or have no real intention of keeping.
That is fukking bullshyt. If you broke down concerns people have and what they think should happen, most people support Democratic positions. Just like when they showed the same people that hated "ObamaCare" loved "The Affordable Care Act":

I have known so many people that were "center" or professed Republicans but live in Blue States and would never dare live in a Red one, because they knew what they were in for. People say that dumb shyt but when it comes time to explain what their positions are, they start looking like "liberals".

On top of that, I just came back from a project site last week. The cacs will vote Trump and so will the operations black people. The office guys are a split between Kamala and Trump. Again, actually talk to people. You learn a lot more

I disagree with her in one regard. The issue is the Democrats and coli schills arent tapped in or chose to ignore. Black people were already talking about black people losing our jobs due to immigration/migrants. So in context, many black people just heard that Trump was listening and shaered their concerns.

But this is the problem when you watch rightwing content, more than you listen and talk to everyday black people/black content creators, which is what many on the left do. The left will accuse you of repeating "right wing talking points", When its actually things that black people have been talking about. Republicans just paid attention, and latched on and regurgitated it back to us as a part of their strategy to appeal.

Oh well,we tried to warn them. We will see if it worked our not soon:respect:

When you get on site, people feel comfortable speaking without their bosses overhearing. Their bosses feel comfortable speaking after a few drinks.

Never work an adult job, brehs :francis:
Breh, WTF are you talking about. People never have felt comfortable talking about politics, especially in a work setting. :dahell: You not talking to a 18 year old who works at Mcdonalds.

I dont know what to tell you. This is not like when I was younger. You never talk sex, religion or politics. But now people openly talk, at least to me, about their politics. Its not surprising when you think about how much identity has become defined by party lines

Not sure where you have worked, but most of the political talk i had was at work. Bullshytting at breaks, lunch or after work at bars with coworkers/managers. Not every one talks about it but when people figure out who they can talk to without getting heat about it, they will talk.

This is not common, it's more so an anomaly. Not just because it's uncomfortable but it can be a fireable offense at times to discuss politics at work

I read a comment online where someone said that the term "Latinos" don't mean anything to a lot of Hispanic people. Basically, if the GOP ain't calling out their own specific nationality, then they don't care.

Like if Trump said "get all these Venezuelans outta here", then many Mexicans , Salvadorans, Guatemalans, etc wouldn't feel bothered. And some of them would actually be supportive because many of them don't fukk with Venezuelans.

I wish I could find the comment, but the whole premise was that Americans think there is this unified Latino solidarity when there really isn't. I thought it was pretty eye -opening.

I think those that vote for MAGA are vying for a certain type of America. The democrats have different interest groups which at times conflict with one another.

I think some think if Republicans get in office that while not perfect they can navigate that form of America and if you're a Latino (or other immigrants) it's better than wherever you come from.
