If it was on HBO, we'd had gotten a better TV rendition. AMC can't stay true to a fukking rape scene.
to be fair, they don't really have 'rape scenes' in the comic either. most of the really bad stuff is just kinda inferred, talked about, and/or just left to your imagination
True, but at least it was implied rape. Maggie was left pretty much unharmed in the show.

yea the comics are better than the show but u gotta give the show some props for making the ppl that read the comics surprised by some of the shyt......as for why they didnt do the show "exactly" like the comic the simple answer is they couldnt on network tv, u cant do rape, u cant decapitate "humans", and the andrea, dale relationship wouldnt come off right on the show and most likely no one but the comic book fans would like it.....i do agree on the tyreese issue tho cuz as soon as he ended up in woodbury and seemed like he was gon help out the governor i was likehow they gon do that to my favorite character in the comic
...i think if they hadnt kept shane around for so long tyreese would've been implemented sooner and everything would've worked out nicer

he's not that great of character because of sloppy writing, same reason michonne aint shyt on the show.
at present, all characters except carol, carl, and daryl aint worth a shyt

i actually like the show better than the comic.. 
i think the comic is way over the top, while the show does a good job developing their characters...plus the show got darryl/merle

If you mean disappointed by saying "surprised" then yea I guess so but yea I might be beating a dead horse by saying this but I've been hugely let down by this show. Some of these decisions are just bad bad bad. The way they're telling this story.... they shouldn't even be at Woodbury yet or worrying about the Governor. They should've played on the inmate/serial killer angle. They completely skipped the neighborhood they were in during the winter before they even got to the farm and introduce Tyreese and his daughter. I don't like how they're so divisively down playing the black characters at all. Tyreese was the head nikka in charge along with Rick in the prison. Michonne was quiet but one of the best characters to root for completely different from the snarling angry black female that hates all white people angle they got her playing in the show.
