Ya'll can't be serious with these takes. Kanye made a whole album with Jay where he was rapping alongside Jay and the album is self titled Watch The Throne. So yes, Kanye at least thought himself equal to Jay.

I'm not a drake fan by any means but its just dumb to not think Drake has penned many songs, he's a good (but basic) songwriter. He knows what a good song is supposed to be like. He just has trouble with really going in deep with concepts and needs motivation and inspiration for melodies and flows which is why Quentin Miller came at the right place at the right time.
