Thanks for the thread brehs :obama:

Yeah, Dina looking :whew: like a more polished, better version of prime Vanessa Hudgens :wow:

I'm very surprised they are gonna follow the game's sequence of events. I was sure the smarter choice was to wait for Joel's death until the season finale (or ep.6) so I really wonder how they are able to bounce back from the clusterfukk that's gonna be episode 3 (I gotta guess that's when it happens, maybe early in ep.4?).

Also very curious as to how they change the Lev and Abby relationship and portion of the story. This version of Abby ain't gonna be killing infected left and right for 3 days to save Lev so I wonder what's gonna replace that :jbhmm:

I thought the premiere set things up well. Only thing I didn’t like was the way it laid out Abby’s intentions from the start. Guess they want the audience to understand part of the “why” ahead of time before the big swing. It’s something that works better for TV, but I dunno
would’ve preferred for newcomers to experience such out-of-left-field trauma in the same fashion Ellie did.

Joel going out on Masters Sunday would’ve been crazy poetic tho. :skip: :wow:

Had to go back and watch Joel's death scene.

shyt is intense as hell.

Owen telling Abby she was lucky and Abby going, "You have no idea"

The room going :ohhh: :whoo::mjgrin::bryan::leon:when they realize it's Joel.

Yeah I wasn't feeling that choice at all. I wanted viewers to experience the shock we did while playing the game. Could've been the equivalent of the Red Wedding reaction. Now they've taken the sting off the moment by stating Abby's intentions early.
