Remember it was the studio that forced Cube to find another actor to play Smokey, which ended up being Chris Tucker. If it was up to Cube, Smokey would have been played by DJ Pooh (Red).

Cube needs to listen to them studio notes.

Pooh was his boy and in the Lench Mob so I get it, but the right decision was made then.

it's give and take, sometimes the studios make good decisions, sometimes it's the producer/director. Whomever fails always gets the heat though
