Pick RJ and tie his left hand behind his back and make him finish with his right for the entire summer. He’s a one handed bandit and that should be the first thing he works on.

His shooting can improve because that’s almost a given in this league. I’m more worried about him finishing at the rim and only using his left.
We have not proven that we can develop shooters yet:francis:

Meh I see no reason to explore trading the pick unless you think it’s a weak ass class . If you think RJ is a superstar talent you just draft him that’s it . Don’t be cute

I’d explore RJ for the 6th pick and say 2 future firsts.

Edit: i guess it would have to be the Mavs Hawks deal right? But I’d make the Cavs make the pick unprotected.

Love the Morris bros talk.

Would love to sign them both for minimums if that was possible, fukk it. If the summer goes as intended we definitely need some enforcers on the team. Get Pat Beverly too to be a nuisance and to have him and KD on the same side. Sign them, JJ/Danny Green to get some shooters on there too.

Only youth I'm interested in keeping are our #3rd pick, Knox, Mitch and Trier. Let them learn from these vets and leas our future.

Sorry Mario and Dot - Frank, DSJ? Get us some more picks.

I mean both brothers are too much. They literally become criminals around each other. Marcus is more versatile defensively and can get his shot off almost whenever, even if inefficient. Kieff provides great value as a floor spacer and defender at the big positions. Honestly, they are the same guy but came up in different systems, So if I had to choose one it would be Marcus, which sort of fits the rumors. I would also like to grab Marcus just to get him away from the Celtics.

I think Mario was the player who said he would come back for less money, plus Dot, Frank, and DSJ have talent. They would all be good bench pieces. to rotate in with the starters.

I wouldn't trade these guys on rookie contracts for AD if I get KD and Kyrie. I would keep all my future draft picks and build the team around KD and Kyrie so when KD is old, RJ Barret will be 23 and ready.
The absolute truth. I do NOT want our future flexibility fukked just to get AD.

I swear to god if this nikka gets it together on another team I’ll never forgive you nikkas...

I hope it isn't true.

I mean its Berman. He's been saying the Knicks want to trade Frank since October and they haven't even taken offers yet. Also the Knicks have been really good at not letting this stuff leak. No one knew they were trading KP, until they traded KP.

"I think he’s a team player," Fizdale said. "He’s one of those type of players, a lot of people want him to be this scorer or playmaker and all that stuff but ultimately to win you need guys that can do all the other little stuff do. I think that is what he is. That’s why I felt comfortable moving him to different positions because he’s a guy who can handle it. And he can adapt to those positions and play that position.""If you’ve got enough guns you’re going to need somebody to move that ball or those guns are going to go after each other’s throats," Fizdale said. "That’s just the balance that you have to find in your team and your roster as you build it. That’s what I see in Frank right now. I think a lot of people see the same thing, even though we’ve all heard the different things that people want him to be. We’re thinking big picture. Who’s a winner? Who’s going to be a guy that can help us win next year and into the future. That’s how we’re looking at Frank."

In a league where an Andre Roberson, Tony Allen and Thabo Sefolosha had long careers. I think Frank can stick in the league. They mention working on his shot and yep I can see him being a 3&D Wing. Especially next to Kyrie who isn't trying to guard anyone.

The only reason to move him would be for cap space for a vet (likely a PF), but you're going to have that same perimeter defense problem and Dotson coming off of surgery.

I anticipated Frank getting moved tbh. The Knicks need more cap space for two max contracts, trading Frank clears more cap than trading Trier or Dotson does, and it was clear the Knicks had him lower on the totem pole than the other two. I really wanna see Frank turn things around and succeed, but breh needs a lot of work and he's just gonna get lost in the shuffle here if the Knicks switch into win now mode. Trading Frank is honestly best for both parties at this point.
