Based on what? Reddish has the higher ceiling. The perception is that RJ’s drive just makes him more likely to reach his ceiling but i think that shyt is overstated. Cam looking passive on a team with two guys who attack relentlessly in a way he physically can’t and never will need to in the league isn’t as much a concern to me as everyone else.

Today, sure. Not when team workouts start and his buzz starts rising. He can only go up from where he is. Everything we’ve heard about him is what his weaknesses are when people more familiar with him know he was held back at Duke. When word gets out those mocks will change.

The nba is about talent though breh. We shouldn’t purposely not draft the best player available

For now? Absolutely. He’ll be more effective with the space they’ll provide alone. And he’s gonna be a good to great defender. If i were drafting based on 2 max guys he’s my pick. If i was drafting based on future potential he’s still my pick. I’d take Barrett if i knew the knicks had no interest in signing free agents and planned on building around young picks. Barrett is a guy you’re going to be able to run an offense through immediately. But i feel he’s not as versatile role wise. So if you don’t need him for that purpose, he’s not gonna be as effective as other guys.

The best players available don’t always work out. Okafor at #3 was the best available for philly and look how that turned out. They needed shooting and ended up with a big clogging the lane and not defending.
