Your odds are the same

But we also will at worse case fall to 5 meaning one of Zion, Barret, Ja, Culver, or Reddish will be added the to youth core (in that order though Culver might work his way to 3 or 2). It’s not better odds but it also increases the chance they can add significant talent.

The tanking is silly. The Knicks have a much higher probability to pick #5 than #1. As long as they're top 3 they're getting the best odds at the #1 and they're 6 games in front for that

6-7 is likely Garland (who is injured) and Romeo or Nassir who have both underperformed and have real flaws. 6-9 is where the Knick’s usually pick. The last top 5 they have had is KP. There is talent in that 6-9 range but you got to develop it (or wait for it to heal) and we’ve seen the knicks halfhearted attempts at developing which are either don’t play them or play them too much.

I don’t think we’re tanking, this team sucks and the coaching staff is ass.

That goes without saying, but it is what it is.

I think our coach is dope and the Mudiay position is so we can have better odds at a pick. They said last year that their main focus was for developing a team for after free agency. With 2 max slots even if we don't get Kyrie, KD, we can acquire some nice talent during off season.

If Kevin Knox, considering the rough overall year, begins to butterfly a bit in the last 5 or 6 games and has some amazing performances that lead to Knicks win and the tank fan base start to call for his crucifixion like Timmy...

I'm going to die laughing. :pachaha:

As disturbing as it sounds, I really hope it(him performing amazingly) doesn't happen for the main reason that he'll be unfairly blamed for messing up a tank watch.

Brehs I just want to see a healthy Frank & “no more stupid fouls” Mitch play defense together for 1 whole game. Add DSJ playing point with those two as well
:francis:
I never got to see KP with any of the youth
:mjcry:
Now he is snake status. It’ll never happen
:pacspit:
You gonna have to come to terms with it like I have that there’s a good chance we’ll never see the former. Fiz and the FO don’t care about defense. I know the day is fast approaching where I’m gonna have to make a post similar to @DPresidential letting Tim be free:to:

Let’s say we get second pick and Morant is available

Do we take him even though we have DSJ as a PG prospect and with the Frenchman on the last year of his rookie deal

I’m so torn on that, on one hand I don’t think Dennis Smith is a starter on a team. But we desperately need a SG as well and RJ can fill that role.

Now that we have DSJ, I'd be more interested in one of the more complimentary skillsets. Trying to get someone in the 4-7 range to overpay for Morant would still position us to grab Reddish or take a shot on Garland if we're determined to grab another PG prospect (one that has elite shooting upside).

Also...I like Culver more and more. Not sure where he'll end up in the draft but I could see him being a better fit than Allen or Reddish or Morant if we're not moving prospects for an additional star.
