I feel like the media is trying to annoy kyrie and kd to the point where they dont want to come here anymore. At the end of the day, they love to see us fail. And they dont do this to players who dont have us on their radar.

Bottom line is there’s no other option. If we don’t land KD and Kyrie it will be an epic failure and we set our franchise back another decade and pretty much handed KP away for nothing.

I don't think they're stupid enough to do something really crazy if KD/Kyrie don't come(i.e. signing Kemba and Boogie to max deals)

I think they'll follow the Nets model, let the kids play, use your cap space to absorb bad contracts and pick up draft capital

Pills are aware of the past mistakes the FO made with trying to look for quick fixes that brought us nowhere. All our rooks showed us glimpses this season and we're getting another high pick this year since KP. Since we have cap to keep us flexible, I wouldnt mind looking forward to year 2 Mitch, Knox and Zo along with DSJ, Frank and this year's pick.

I was just listening to Broussard on his radio show on Fox, he made the basically the same statement, but couched it by saying that Kyrie and KD would "consider" the media in their decision making process, not that they weren't going to consider coming to NY. Sounds different from "leaning towards not coming to NY". Must be the sauces.
