@storyteller Thank you for that.

As Knick fans - especially me - we fall in love with our adopted sons immediately after one game. :manny:

Your analysis was the objective perspective we need.

I'm still very doubtful that Smith and Frank are going to maximize their potential; and that would be a real fukking shame for basketball.

The amazing end would definitely be to see both Frank and Dennis rise to their potential together, though.:wow: Imagine that? After the division between the Frank stans and the Anti-Frank "we should have drafted DSJ" stans, we all find that middle ground and see these brehs excel?

That's striking legit gold. Dennis has the strength where Frank could probably take on the best offensive guard while Smith takes the weaker guy. On offense, Frank can probe and let his offense come to him while DSJ can be in attack mode. It's similar to why I liked Morant/Frank but with Smith ahead of Ja as a defender and behind as a playmaker imo. It's definitely a big if, I feel the skepticism for sure, but the potential end game is a really dynamic backcourt that can keep up defensively too. Putting aside the FA's or trades, hitting the lottery with the roster in tact gives us a potential core of

DSJ/Frank/Zion/Knox/Mitch

Dennis Smith would be the oldest player in that group and he's not 22 until after next season starts (November). :banderas:

My God, I still can't believe we were blessed to experience this cinderella shyt.

fukk, Jeremy Lin era was a movie.:mindblown:

This shot was so fukking arrogant of a buzzer beater.

Like, nikka, you're just a 4th stringer and he literally waived off the pick and took this shyt into his own hands.

Wow, I really would like to get Lin back on the Knicks.

Imagine @storyteller post game analysis write ups after each of the Lin games?!:ohlawd:

Imagine the terribly timed emoji+failed punchline posts by @KnickstapeCity :noah:

Dennis smith has shown better point guard skills in his last 3 games (one in dallas) then frank has shown his entire career. Frank reminds me of a late 90s, early 2000s pg. Hes nice, but i dont no if he translates to the modern game.

Hes too good of a defender to not have a roster spot, but i just dont no what position he plays

My bad for the multiple posts but...

The Clippers genius trade was the worst thing that happened regarding the knicks' future.

If I'm KD, Kyrie, Kawhi, etc... That is a perfect place to play.

Somehow...WE lost in that trade.:merchant:

On a fundamental level West understands how to build a team. Whatever Ballmer is paying him is a bargain.

I agree and i was concerned about the Clippers from the beginning. Relatively speakin they've flown under the radar while theres been alot of talk about the Knicks, lakers, AD and the pelicans, Kyrie and the Celtics

We gonna act like Jerry West didnt put the Warriors together?

Only thing with the Clippers...having to play second fiddle to Lakers, Magic and Lebron might be taxing on players but they're very attractive.
