It's smokescreen season and the only time Knox has had an eye popping workout has been with no media present. I'm not saying they're fronting but it's on the table for ALL rumors right now about players. Agents are pushing their guys, teams are trying to fool each other and some players are legitimately surprising people (honestly, I'd read good things about Troy Brown Jr and I bought those ones but I'm on the fence about Knox). I say all this as someone who has Knox behind both Bridges, Brown Jr, Walker and Smith though....I'm just not as high on the kid and I'd need to SEE the eye popping workout and match-ups to buy into it. If that's legit, the Knicks should draft him, but I go by what I can verify myself.

I think Knox, Bridges, Carter are who they're eyeing on. If Bamba is still available which I highly doubt, the Knicks will take him.

I think any of these prospects will fit into long and strong D with a line of:
-Burke
-Ntilikina
-Potential prospect or Williams/Lee
-Potential prospect or Beasley/wack dude from d leagues
-Quinn/Kanter til KP comes back

Timmy will be a 6th man for the 2 guard and Dotson will be a back up point with Mudiay being a bust if he doesn't step up.

This will be Frank's break out season playing with Burke, mark my words but Miles or Knox would do some damage playing with Frank and Trey. When KP comes back though...:banderas:

I see a shytload of potential in Frank. He's hungry and studying. A lot of players don't have that. Put an equally determined coach behind him and you'll have your formula.

I could be wrong, but it seems we have a recent history of trying to be too brilliant in our picks.

Do your research but dont overthink the selection on some 'you guys aint up on this, bet you never heard of this guy' stuff.

Knox is 4th on my list in terms of order of preference - behind both Bridges and Wendell Carter Jr (think he'd be the BPA if he makes it to 9)

Id be fine if they take Knox over Miles, but if he were selected over Mikal or WCJr :francis: Id support him cause he's our pick but Id be pretty disappointed

If he's the target hopefully Knicks trade down to get him

nikkas get so in their feelings they really out here acting like they hooked on phonics . So mad they won't even quote you :russ:.

Bron probably didn't even know that lil nikka was alive. Care to throw up Bron's quote about DSJ before that game?

Who did Bron think should be a Knick? But no worries coli posters who invest in spreadsheets know better than the goat :dead:.
be a dikkhead brehs
“I think he knows how to play the game. That’s the best thing, first of all. He’s a very cerebral basketball player. I think, defensively, he’s more advanced than offensively. But I think he’s getting better and better offensively as he’s gotten more opportunity and played more games.”
bron himself after they played in april a few times.
bron only suggested dsj cause that 1 healthy acl ass nikka was at his basketball camps a few years ago
bron didnt know he was a alive but was doing all that gesturing and posturing and flexing in front of him after he made those comments for no apparent reason right
go be a dumbass somewhere else.
poor posting quality.

Yep...that speculation is for second rounders like the aforementioned Bruce Brown or my dude Justin Jackson. I also got eyes on Bonga, Kenrich Williams and Jarred Vanderbilt as guys I think might fall to that 36 slot. It's been Mikal since the beginning of the offseason for me and that hasn't changed tbh.

THIS. I don't think Knox is a top 10 talent in this draft and even if he got grabbed before we pick at say 12 or 13; we'd still have someone like Walker of Zhaire around...definitely Troy Brown Jr who's a sleeper too.

Think if we can't get up to 4 (Parsons + 4 for our 9th) we should try buying a 2nd from someone, packaging #37 + the newly bought 2nd for a late 1st and see if Washington would bite on Gortat + 15.

Somebody predicted Gortat's availability hella early. Props to whoever that was. I would love to pull this off. BPA at 9 and Knox or Troy Brown Jr at 15 and I'm good.

He’s 18 so if he gets drafted by the Knicks it’s based mostly on potential and how he will compare to the other wings when he turns 20. Right now he more offensively gifted than both Miles and Mikal but lacks the intensity on defense and offense. I don’t know if that how he plays or how they wanted him to play at Kentucky. Maybe the coaching staff thinks they can mold his game to be more aggressive, and if they can we will potentially have a multiple all star forward for that next decade.

It’s a gamble they are willing to take based on what they see out of Mikal and Miles.

Also there is no way I’m benching THJR for Frank. Ntilikina is coming off the bench and will be put into the defensive rotation. Hopefully he works on his game to become defensive minded off guard instead of a point guard. I don’t want to see him run another offensive set in my life. We all know he passes that ball only the Kyle O’Quinn when he attacks the basket.
