Let's hear it. I don't see a single positive and I need some help going to bed

KP was telling people not to come here. His brother stayed trying to shyt on the FO. He had to go.

Tim's contract gone
$70M+ in Cap Space
2019 Top 5 pick potentially
We haven't seen KP play in a year
2 additional 1st Round Picks

We've been in way worse positions.

PG, Butler, Kyrie none of those guys got back multiple firsts. The Mavs gave up two AND gave up a young prospect in DSJ AND took on two bad contracts.

People are understandably looking at it from the lens of getting back 75c for a dollar (always the case in basketball trades) but KPs untouched upside is just as big as his downside. The elephant in the room no Knick fan wanted to acknowledge is that he's a 7 footer recovering from an ACL tear after already dealing with achilles, ankle, and foot problems. We're 4 years in and the potential still vastly outweighs the production, partly due to those lingering injuries.

The package we got was good on 1/31/19, doesn't mean it won't look better/worse years from now depending on what he becomes, but for right now it's a quality haul given the circumstances.

Ya'll better hope DSJ come and light the garden up on some Linsanity-type shyt or nikkas gonna be rebuilding for the next 5 years. But at the same time, maybe ya'll dodged a bullet and Zingy never fully recovers :manny:

In addition to this, I looked over the Knicks payroll for the next couple of years and I just realized that they can take their cap room and roll it over the next couple of years, so even if the Knicks strike out on free agency, they can take a couple of more cracks at free agency the next two years before they have to worry about extending players. The Knicks have A LOT of flexibility now, it's up to Pills to make the most of it. This was the best return you could hope for KP; cap relief, picks with low protection, and a good young prospect. It's the type of deal I would've gave up for AD, not KP.

1st Round Playoff Exits
I feel a little different now about this. Kinda glad Knicks management shipped that faggit Kpee to Dallas. Dolan was probably like aiight i had enough of these faggits Wristflaps Pordrinkpiss and his brother. Get them the fukk out of town asap!! :scust:

Just wish we got a better quality young talent player in return. I dont want Smith Jr running the point

Just one more thing, is it a sure thing Jordan and Matthews will get bought out? Just dont wanna compromise the tank :francis:
Yall need to buy out Jordan, because he can definitely win yall some games, but matthews is timmy tank 2.0.....

We’ll see how these free agent meetings go this summer. Hopefully they have assurances KD wants to play here.

I was like, "wtf!" when I read the news headline knicks trade kp to mavs on realgm yesterday. Having a guy with stamina/ endurance issues from anemia coupled with all the injuries as the franchise cornerstone probably wasn't going to work long term. I'm ok with this trade just don't sign Kemba, Butler or Tobias Harris, trade for Blake Griffin, commit big money to Mudiay, Vonleh, or Herzonja or even bring them back and I'm good. If we can't get a pairing of Leonard, Irving, Kd, cool. Start fukking mining the g-league and overseas for Chris Copeland's or whatever undrafted prospects you can find to fill out the roster. No more bullshyt free agent signings like Courtney Lee.

What if it comes out that KP didn’t want a tier 1 FA and wanted the team to be built around him?

I never wanted to see it, but it was obvious when KP pulled that lame bs, taking pics of him sprinting after Fiz's comments, that he's a bit bytchmade...but I ignored it cause of the orange and blue. He had the Knicks right where he wanted them. The Knicks buck up to Janis and he continues his smear campaign, possibly hurting the Knicks in free agency. He pounced and exposed himself as the entitled fukkboy he is :scust:
