Small sample size at the beginning of the season just like that fluke Ntlikina shooting 38% from 3 shyt his apologists like to pull :russell:

:mjlol: 4th biggest sample size of any five man unit on the damned team. Nice try though.

The PG of the future isn’t on this team. Perhaps he plays for Murray State.

Then there's literally no harm in focusing on Frank's development over Mudiay's...point blank. Frank's under contract. I really don't understand how this point flies over so many heads.

Cause fukk Frank, he ain’t out here dropping double doubles. He ain’t ever gonna be our first option so he needs to go.

Nah...Not you, breh....Not you, too.

Aye yo... my nikka Frank is still a Knick draft pick. Y'all need to give him until the moment y'all see him play with Porzingis.

Mudiay's turning into a mid range gawd, but until he gets a consistent outside shoot and sees the floor a little better, it's hard to put a lot of faith in him. Still think the best plan is to trade Mudiay and try to develop Frank. Mudiay is gonna have a cap hold of 8 mil at the end of the year which is pretty substantial, and if that 8 mil has to be tied up anywhere I'd rather use it to try and resign Vonleh with.

Not really asking for that just that the guy looks like a functional NBA level guard
These things take time. Especially if you coming from a different system and league. He may reach his potential or he may not but there’s no need to stunt his development for someone we’re not sure will be here next year. Same thing with trading him now. It’s pointless seeing as he’s cost controlled and could be a good bench player if anything.

:russ: You moved the goal posts so far that we literally can’t evaluate any five man units but two.

As far as frank needing to earn his minutes, that doesn’t address my point. No future PG on the team means no future for Mudiay on the team. Frank has a contract through next season. So it’s just common sense that we should focus on the player who will actually be here instead of players that won’t.

I’m not mad breh, I just don’t think anyone ever actually addresses the idea that
Focusing on Frank’s development >>> focusing on Mudiay’s

I 100% agree with you. We are tanking loookign terrible on defense with some bright spots of our young players . There is zero reason to push mudiay (who has had way more time in the league than frank and still isn’t a high level guard )over frank who is our rookie and has some potential. The more he runs out mudiay the more I think he may try and justify keeping him

How is his development being stunted? The Knicks have put him in different types of situations on and off ball. They work hard with him at practice. He was with Brickley and working out in France this offseason.

If you want to really develop him you send him to the G-League where he can get confidence, minutes, and play lesser competition.

6 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists on 34/30/75 splits with over 4 fouls per 36 minutes isn’t gonna cut it and he isn’t defending at the same level as last year
