It would be just like the Knicks to have the worst record in the first year that multiple teams will have the same odds for the top pick. This is just like how every time the Jets had a top pick there wasn’t a cant miss franchise QB available in the draft.

And the pressure to get some veterans in order to make the roster at least appear to not have everyone in diapers so a top free agent doesn't think he's joining another lottery team...
And we end up not getting the no. 1, trading a bunch of young guys for role players and no free agents and a one legged KP.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jabari deal offered was for Lee and Lance who are two solid role players on short contracts. It's a realistic trade for a team even further back on the rebuild than we are.
Like as a fan base we are quick to shyt on our players and over estimate other teams players (even when we outright acknowledge they suck).

Bout time we got an update on KP, just a little over another month to know what's up. shyt, by the time he get reevaluated he still might be a couple weeks away from hitting the court again. If he comes back by March we just might really end up in the Top 5 or even 3 in the draft
