I feel like yall have so many guards but I dunno there is nothing being ran out there. Most guys are dribble driving to score. No movement or anything like that. It was the 2nd of a back to back so it is what it is.

This is a underrated post. Like we had Frank who used to look to score whenever the offense he was running broke down. Now its iso/iso/iso and he's not that guy. I mean shyt he got 7 less minutes that Mudiay in garbage time and pulled 2 assists to Mudiays 1. Also Mudiay had 3 points.

Like shyt I like Fiz but the stuff we heard from his time in Memphis where he was big on "culture" but weak on the X&O's is starting to look very true.

Yep the Trier/Burke/Hardaway Front court fukked that up,,,,,,, but they score a lot so Fiz keeps playing them.

Like all 3 would be really good 6th/7th man candidates on better teams but we got all of them playing together to try and get to 100 pts before the opposing teams hits 120.

We really need to do some trades.
I feel like fitz has his “favorites “ already and he’s willing to let them make more mistakes than others . For god sAke he was talking about “Mud” the whole time he was out injured as if people are clamoring for him to play . It’s very annoying and this team is almost 10 games under .500 it’s time for a lineup change and more tweaks to the rotation also focus on the fukkign fundamentals of defense and trying to run a offense . How many times are they coming out of time outs and looking like they haven’t discussed anything

Frank needs to go down to the G League for a while.
Why ? This team isn’t competing let him learn up here .

Simmons and russillo threw out the idea the mavs should trade wes matthews for thj. They said THJ is good and the mavs should try and make the playoffs since they dont have a pick. For the knicks they get cap space since he's expiring

What draft number do we not wanna be lower than? 3rd pick should be the lowest?

Obviously top 3 is where we wanna be, it gets us one of the duke players.

Even 4th might get a Nasir, langford or Ryu. But now you’re looking at a lot of players that don’t offer immediate impact.

That double curl the Sixers run for JJ Reddikk was one of the most beautiful plays I’ve ever seen.

frank needs to go to d league
he lost his confidence and i wanna see how he plays with free reign to do what he wants
i remember in his first summer league game he played like a hoe as well before bouncin back the followin game.
his good performances happen once or twice a month
its just not acceptable

Thos loss was on Fiz and Tim. I'm not trying to crucify them, though.

Fiz did not make the proper timeouts to fukk up the 6ers momentum. He also continued to allow the jumpshot green light.

Both Fiz and Tim need to be the ones to recognize what's not working and adjust - e.i. go to the fukking paint until momentum shifts.

Tim is the leader on the court and he acted like he was just another rookie doing the same action over and over again with the same result.

The rookies can't be looked at negatively when their performance matched the entire team's.

Aye... @storyteller

I was thinking about what you said earlier...

What was KP's TS% last year?:dwillhuh:

54% ironically it was around 60% until he went down with an ankle injury in Miami and rushed back, then tanked to an abysmal 51% the rest of the way until his knee popped. I think it was in the podcast I posted yesterday, but there somebody saying that KP's knee injury following the ankle could be linked too. The pattern of these top players getting hurt and rushed back is concerning across staffs, players and play styles. Melo to KP to THJ and arguably Knox as well have all gone down with an injury then gone back out to play after a game or two with visible drop offs in their quality of play.

Fiz should be preparing these guys for a more distributive mindset NOW. This season is all about NEXT season but it's all ISO's all the time. A back and forth on realgm pointed these bits out:
- Burke and Mudiay's apg are well below their career averages while Frank is below his rookie average.

- In the last 15 years, the Knicks have the worst assist to field goal rate. The mod that looked this up stopped there, so how far back we'd have to go to find a similar lack of ball movement is unknown.

This offense is ugly. Heads around here are focused on Frank's offensive struggles heavy, but they're missing that nobody has looked consistently good for a while now besides Kanter. Timmy has dropped below 39% for the season on field goals. In the 9 games played prior to his four game hot streak, Burke was clinging to 40% from the field and in the four games after that hot streak he's shooting 19%. Mudiay looks like he's coming back to Earth too. There may be something to the theory that the streaks for these guys have come down to catching teams with rotations they haven't scouted yet moreso than anything else.

yall think ppl be picking on frank but its not even that.

yall gotta understand, players like mudiay, trey, mario etc more den likely have no future with dis team. none of em are comin back because of cap.

mitchell is a second rounder, trier was undrafted. they are both exceedin expectations, no one expected much from them

knox is underperforming but he has only played 20 games

frank is going into his second season, arugably plays the most imporant position on the team. we need to no asap whether hes up for the job or not. we not askin him to play like other players in his age range, we just expectin him come out and consistently play well.

cause if not, there point guards in the draft, theres point guards in free agency and we tryin ti get dis show on the road..

last year there were excuses about his age, and his professional league and all that. its not a excuse anymore
