If Lee, Kanter, and Beasley are given major rotational mins next season then there was no point in firing Hornacek at all.

:hhh: @ the prospect of all 3 being on the roster next season, especially Kanter :hhh::hhh:

Lee needs to be traded to clear up some of the guard log jam

Beasley shouldn't be resigned. I like him, he was professional last season and played his role well, but Id rather his mins be given towards Troy Will's development. Developing the young'uns should be what next season is all about. Wish Beas the best tho, hope some contending team throws a bag at him :yeshrug::salute:

Again, :scust: at Kanter being back

Agree on THJR tho
Beasley on the rockets is scary

If Mikal is gone and its between Miles and Wendell Carter, i think the front office goes with Carter. I definetly think Carter is the better prospect, but i wonder how he'll fit alongside KP....

I've seen a couple of places that have compared Carter Jr's ceiling to Horford. And that he has a high floor.....what is his floor tho, and who would you compare his floor to?

As opposed to the likes of Solomon Hill, Luc Mbah ah Moute who cant make a damn lay up, Jeff Green, etc

If these guys can get mins so can Super Coo Bease

Mbah a Moute is a good player and was an integral part of the Rockets rotation before he injured his shoulder. Now, he can't dunk the ball because of it. Hill and Green are not good and neither is Beasley. Ideally, you would rather play neither of these three guys.

Horford seems like an accurate comp. He's has similar size, he has good awareness, can find the open man out the post and will find the cutter, strong and a good post defender. He has a decent post game too, has counter moves can hit a fadeway over either shoulder . Whether he lives up to the Al Horford comp depends on how well he can defend on the perimeter and how well his shot translates. I don't trust his college percentages fully atm; low volume, I've seen him miss a bunch of shots short of the rim, and I've seen the arc on his shot come out flat a few times, he shows potential be a really good shooter in time though. I don't know if he'll ever be a great defender in space, he doesn't look that quick laterally to me, which will probably keep him as a 5 in the pros( which is why I wonder how he'll fit with him). Still though, at worst he's a double double guy who can get points off of put backs, wide open spot ups and occasional post ups, Hard to think of a player to compare his floor too, bigs who can defend the post and hit a three are still relatively rare.

And D'Antoni is still runnin Moute out there cause he doesn't have any other options, same with the Blazers tryin to play Harkless even tho he was clearly diminished from a late season injury. If nothing else, he provides decent bench depth. Regardless, hopefully we get a chance to see what he can or cant do for a playoff team next season, no point in bringing him back during a rebuild

Modern era Kurt Thomas? :patrice::ld:

Mo Speights w/better defense? :patrice:

I dont think Knicks brass will factor in fit that much when considering who to select, if he's still on the board & they view Carter as BPA over either of the Bridges then that will be the pick. Wouldn't be mad over it, much better than taking another guard :francis:. Think Wendell goes 7th to Chicago tho, not only does he fit there but more than likely would be the BPA at 7th anyway
