Other brehs were quick to claim he couldn't handle the no.1 option position, that he wouldn't get big, that he wouldn't do this or that...he was definitely on his way to proving them wrong.

I done seen lonzo get cooked on multiple occasions...blows bys...and gambling for steals. objectively he's a good defender...and he has flashier defensive plays....but from fundamental standpoint he does nothing better than frank on defense. not maneuvering screens, not defending the roller, not defending bigger players


zo broke out his patented stepback that has rarely worked at this level one time against nikola jokic....probably the only center worse at defense than kanter
zo's stepback only goes in one direction....left.

Frank played 20 minutes a game and was averaging 4 fouls per 36 minutes, the majority of his energy was used on defense as he provides little to nothing offensively. Zo is up there with Frank in a lot of defensive metrics.

And at least Zo has a go to move. Enough of this lets move on and hope to see a good game from Frank tonight.
