I knew this team was gonna be bad, but the preseason play and first few games of the season had a lot of people fooled.
But I’m not tripping, I think the majority of the fans wanted a “tank” season. Continue to develop our young players, clear some cap space this season, get a top 3 pick, get KP back healthy and it’s gonna be night and day difference between this season and next.

One Of The Last Real Ones To Do It
I been thinking about this for a few days now and I see it as the culmination to flatten out talent in the league. The old system was more ISO heavy, but also good ISO scoring is a much more hard to master skill than the current system of pace and space where even 7 footers can learn to shoot the ball from the 3 pt line. Like right now the league looks like its full of talent but that is because the requirement for being a solid contributor has been lowered. Beyond improved ratings I could definitely see this as the start of the process to expand the league. The big issue holding it back before was that even 10 seasons ago it was clear there wasn't enough talent to spread out. Now I could see the league squeezing 2 extra teams in..... maybe even 4. Cause teams are more deep in general.
