I cut Frank slack last year because he was a rookie coming over from Europe and Hornacek was a dikkhead that would bench him over one mistake. But this year is different, Hezonja is shooting 35 footers, trying to take Giannis one on one :mjlol:Timmy is doing Timmy things. It's basically a free for all and Frank is still playing scared.

How do you go all out on defense and then look shook on the other end :gucci: It's not like his mechanics are broken or he's shooting airballs.
yeah, that "hes only 19 years old" stuff gave him a pass for most ppl last year, but knox is the same age and is way more aggressive.
we see little flashes here and there, the improvement in his game is obvious. but if he still cant play agressive for an entire game by the end of the year, den its a problem.

theres no reason at all to be nervous

I just want to note...when people say Frank's age, it's to point out that he has a lot of time to grow. It is not used to explain why he's tentative offensively.

I'd also like to note that a pass-first euro point guard and a shoot first forward (regardless of age) probably shouldn't be compared when it comes to offensive aggressiveness.

Lastly, I'd like to note that Frank is only in his second year and if we are looking at him as a pg, he is learning the hardest position in the league. If he's defending at a high level, and passing at a high level, I don't think we have to throw him in the bushes if we see incremental improvement throughout the year. Any improvement should be shown support.

Yeah his defense is good and I'm willing to be patient if I see signs, but an 8th overall pick PG from 2017 has to do better than 5 points a game. I don't need 17 shots, but at a minimum keep the defense honest.
