Well if Fiz is going by merit they were the 5 best players in preseason, outside of Trier. I'm just happy Frank is starting, he played really well most of the preseason, and the versatility he showed on defense was nuts. I'm anxious to see how he does tomorrow.

I wanted DSJr in the first place then I learned to like Frank at the 1 because of his defense ,size , and passing ability. Now he moves him to the 3? He doesnt have an advantage at the 3.​

I'm disappointing in what I'm seeing unless - hear me out - unless Timmy is the starting 2 and Frank is the 3. I DON'T WANT TIMMY playing SF. It's never felt right to me.

Just MAYBE, the defensive sets will look like Timmy guarding the 2 and Frank having a static assignment which would be "guard the best player on the court."

So tonight, we should see Frank on Kent Bazemore, Trey on Trae & Timmy on Prince.

Still, I wanted to see a starting line up of Frank, Timmy, Lance, Hezonja, Kanter or Frank, Timmy, Knox, Lance, Kanter.

Let's be honest, Timmy kind of earned the starting position late in the preseason. So did Frank. But, I do agree with y'all, ideally, I'd love to see Timmy buy into the 6th man role as the star of the second unit and an almost surefire 4th quarter on the court player.

I am completely of the school of thought that pride shouldn't be hurt from not starting if you are playing crunch time minutes in the 4th.

I see some pro's and con's to this crew. It's not what I was expecting and I gotta do some guesswork. There were times where Hornacek made line-ups and rotations that I literally could not understand; whereas with this crew...I THINK I can see what he's trying to do even if I have a completely different vision. I'll try to get into some detail later on.

Don't see how. The only player that we could argue should be there is Robinson but Kanter had played really well. Knox hasn't outplayed Timmy and that's really Knox fault. Where do you think there's a contradiction

fitz just said 2 days ago that knox would be starting and he would make him learn on the fly and go through growing paints. he benched him

tim and knox dont play the same position, so it doesnt matter who outplayed who. fitz said countless times this summer that tim is too small to play the 3 and then he puts him at the 3.

this is the same lineup horn put out there last year and It was trash

and miss me with the "best player in pre season starts" stuff cause trier outplayed pretty much everyone and trey is starting over him.
