While I :salute:your early-on fandom and belief in Zion, this was a step too far :dame:

Regardless, no shade :whoa:, he needs to slim down a good bit :ld::hubie:

Why cant we like all the players from whichever era they played in?

Oak, Starks, Spree, H20 should all have their jersey #s retired. While we're at it, Mason too, R.I.P. Great tenure as a Knick.

Melo too.

Before my time, but BK as well.

Hell, special consideration to Kurt Thomas and Marcus Camby...seems like the Knicks were always in contention whenever these two were on the team.

All of the aforementioned were either major contributors/integral members of our most successful runs as a franchise or great individual talents who achieved individual accolades (King, Melo) while carrying the team as far as he could.

IDK maybe my standards are too low just feel like Ewing shouldn't be the only player circa 1970s championship era teams to have his # retired. I mean I understand the argument but I dont think jersey retirement should be exclusively based on team success, its certainly part of it but shouldn't be the end all be all
I have always felt that anyone who heavily contributed to a team that is playing in the finals should get some recognition. Oak, Starks, Sprewell, Allan Houston and Mason all fit that bill. Melo did not get to a finals, but he did put up great individual numbers for an extended amount of time and deserves consideration.

Bernard King should have had his # retired. He is a hall of famer and had the best stretch in his entire career on the Knicks.

I have a feeling Knox, Nitty and Robinson are gonna show off this year and then when KP comes back it's a wrap. We'll all get the right free agency picks next year to compliment and a decent pick no matter what lottery number.

Edit: I'm not drinking. My liver is recuperating.

Optimistic, yet reasonable. :ehh:

Seems like solid, sober posting to me:yeshrug::ehh:

Good shyt :obama::pachaha:
