Idk abt the Kidd comparison.......He's already got a jump shot. Kidd didnt develop that until much later into his career. Kidd was solid defensively......at best, I think Young will get good enough on defense where you can hide him on someone, i.e not particularly good but not so bad that he's a complete liability on that end
You're right that was a bad comparison.

Knox just looks the natural part of what a wing is in today’s nba

I think Frank is a 2 which doesn’t bode well for his ceiling

Told y'all nikkas about Knox, bruh is NICE! Also, my nikka Mitchell Robinson aka Young Dolph got some Clint Capella in him, might be a nice fit next to Zingy once his body matures. As for that Frank dude, y'all gonna regret that pick for years :russ:

Ya'll frontcourt is looking good for the future though.

Frank had a up n down game......great end to the game tho. Made some nice passes, hit some shots, pushed the pace and ofc the stellar defense we've become accustomed to

His lack of aggressiveness and inability to take advantage of Trey on the other end were frustrating
Passing the ball way to early in the shot clock, or passing the ball as soon as he got past the half court line

Not tryin to be too reactionary off of 1 SL game for a 2nd year player thats not even 20 yet, but yeah idk how you coax out timidness in someone's playing style. One thing I did notice was when the pace got faster Frank played better, looked less mechanical and more in the flow of the game.

IDK, those expecting a dramatic leap this year may come away disappointed :francis:
Im ok with that, with most projects you dont start seein much return on investment till their 3rd or 4th years anyway
Think Frank takes the proverbial leap in his 3rd season

Things I'll be looking for with Frank this upcoming season:
  • More aggressive on the offensive end (take more shots man, go to the basket, etc)
  • Better shooting splits
  • Better decision making as the lead guard i.e, when to shoot vs when to pass
Any other improvements made I'll consider gravy

Why would I regret a lock down defender ?
