Man, I'd be willing to give off Burke, Lee and Lance for CJ. I just think he's a better overall player for our squad. But....if we have a pg that's half decent, it makes no sense in sacrificing him for a mediocre one that plays iso and ball hogs. Frank will be better than Lilliard in 2 years, mark my words. We need a really good 2 guard more than a point unless we're talking Kyrie.

Edit: I don't think my predictions have ever been wrong especially when I say Burke, Dotson, Frank and Knox are detrimental to the knicks organization. I knew years back trading for Melo was fukked up.

Burke, Lee, + Thomas doesnt net us CJ or any other all star player. Not sure what Burke's value is around the league, but Id be surprised if Lee or Thomas could get us more than one second rounder, if that.

How, breh? :dwillhuh:

Lee, Lance, and Burke ain't getting us CJ. Portland doesn't even take that call

I am not sure how the youth on the team is detrimental

Won’t get us Lillard either. The topic was what was the most we were willing to part with and our point is, not much. If Portland is desperate enough to get off tax than fine, take some of our contracts that are a year less than the one you want to give for your star.

CJ would be a good get tho especially next to Frank who could take the more difficult defensive matchups in the back court.
I don’t know why Philly doesn’t pull the trigger for him, he’s a perfect fit for them and they have good trade pieces.

Fam...it's game day :banderas:

My girls out of town so i set the whole day up for myself. Went to the gym this morning, catching a matinee Ant Man at 11, making it home in time for the game and then watching battle rap for the rest of the night.

Things faithful men do when they’re fake single for a day... :blessed:

If it wasn't for the Warriors being such a likely lock to win for the next few seasons I would be willing give up Frank for CJ McCollum. CJ is legit nice, he's just short for SG.

Like the value of Youth is so much higher in the post Warriors NBA cause you got to plan to let that squad get old.

shyt is low key sports related depressing if you think about it

Regardless of what's happening around the league, I wouldnt move Frank for CJ. Frank is the type of player Id want to pair CJ with, not trade him for, unless Mudiay panned out we'd have the same issue Portland has now with Dame + CJ only with CJ+Burke. Portland can have anyone else on the roster tho except KP, Frank, & Knox. No future 1sts either.

So, basically, we dont have the assets. And I like CJ a lot, but I aint trading one of the young core pieces for him.

Off topic a little bit, but CJ would be a really good fit on the Sixers. And unlike us, they actually have the pieces to swing a deal like that if they wanted to :francis:
